The bar at the Capital Grille is absolutely the best! They are the spot to go for a solid meal or drinks. The best part though is the bar staff!
The capital grille is an absolutely wonderful experience. Food, staff, ambience, all perfect. I've enjoyed meals with my family for holidays as well as events with clients... always perfect!
My husband and I hardly ever get a night out together so we wanted to try somewhere new to us. He googled "fancy restaurants near me" The Capital Grille was the first place to pop up. The complimentary valet started the night out perfectly as parking would have been a nightmare without. We were 20 minutes early for our reservation but we were seated immediately when we entered. Our server Pablo greeted us quickly and made such good suggestions. He brought my espresso martini and poured it table side which was nice. My husband got the 22oz bone in ribeye, I got the roasted chicken with risotto and for our sides we got the lobster mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes. The food was incredible! That mac and cheese is no joke, easily the best mac I have ever had. After our meal Pablo boxed my leftovers and brought us a complimentary dessert because it was our first time. We had the crème brûlée cheesecake and the flourless chocolate cake. The cheesecake was to die for and the chocolate cake was good but super rich. Between Pablo's excellent service, the amazing food and Dakota keeping our waters filled we had the best time. Thank you so much to everyone at Capital for making our date night special! We definitely will be seeing you again soon!
Nice place for an elegant meal or a cozy cocktail in the bar. Food is very good . Standard steaks on the menu, seafood and chef specialties as well. The filet trio was really fine. Three cutlets prepared differently. Excellent. Parking on site. If you do come here, please folks, dress nice. Stop in and say Hi to manager John and our server Chris. They went the extra distance for us to make it a special evening. Thanks guys again. We'll be back.
The rib eye with balsamic was delicious. Cooked perfectly and very well seasoned, one of the best steaks I've had in cinci. Calamari was lovely with the hot peppers, and everything was fresh. Our servers were fantastic and we loved having our work meeting there in the special conference room. Would go back.
We had dinner here today for my wife's birthday. Our waiter was Barry who did an excellent job of taking care of us. We both had the filet which was excellent with mash potatoes and spinach. I also got a ceasers salad and mushrooms. My wife received a birthday treat and a beautiful rose. All total, the meals were just as good as many of the top steak (Capital is also one the top steak restaurants) restaurants in greater Cincinnati. From my experience, Capital service beats them all. First time at Capital and not disappointed. Beautiful seating. Great wine options. Lobster and crab cake was delicious. The ribeye was so tender with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. The coconut pie was amazing with cappuccino. Kelli was a fantastic help in our choices. Thanks for a fantastic anniversary dinner!
Second time in one week. Loved this place and surprised I love it so much because I am not a fan of chain restaurants. Decided on something different tonight, I got lamb and a wedge salad. It was amazing and perfect!! Stacie really makes the best recommendations. Had I not had amazing service from her the first time, I may not have been back, but I've been happy with ALL of her recommendations!! Going to have to see if I have as much luck at their other locations. Yum
